The Detroit Lions kick off their three-day mandatory minicamp on Tuesday. In terms of how the practices look compared to the organized team activities from the past two weeks, the differences will be small. This is still considered Phase Three of the offseason, which means no contact and no pads.
However, the mandatory part brings at least a little intrigue. Will offensive tackle Tyrell Crosby show up? Will Jamie Collins be excused, or will he show? Plus, for many of the Lions players, this will be their last time taking the field together before training camp at the end of July.
