It hasn’t been a good start to the Detroit Lions 2018 season, I don’t think I’m breaking any news by saying that. Standing at 1-3 after four games is just about as bad as things could get—even though Detroit’s one win was against the team everyone was expecting them would absolutely demolish them.
But if there’s one positive thing to take from the first quarter of the season, it’s that the Lions are getting a pretty solid amount of production from their rookies. The cynic would say that’s really just a sign that the roster is so weak—and they’d have a point—but let’s ignore that for now and take a moment to appreciate good play from young players.
