We’ve reached the halfway point in the Detroit Lions’ 2020 season, and it feels like we’re already circling the drain again. Their record is 3-5—which is not a huge crisis—but it’s the teams they’re losing to and the way they’re losing that makes any hope for this team seem irrational. Well, even more irrational than usual.
It’s obvious that some serious changes need to be made with this team, but with the trade deadline passed and the firing of any coaches unlikely for the time being, there’s really only one thing this team can do right now: change the playing time of the guys they already have on the roster.
