On Monday night, the Buccaneers made official what had been rumored for months. Former first-round pick Gerald McCoy is parting ways with the Bucs, making him an official free agent on Tuesday.
Oddly enough, that makes the top two defensive tackles in the 2010 NFL Draft available at this point in the offseason, as Ndamukong Suh is still hanging around unsigned. And it’s not like either are considered busts. Both have been named first-team All Pro three different times in their careers.
While we have already offered our opinion on Ndamukong Suh, let’s consider McCoy.
