Sunday was another dramatic reminder for Detroit Lions and NFL fans that receiver Kenny Golladay is capable of some amazing things. Detroit’s 2017 third-round pick took over in the second half against the Carolina Panthers and almost single-handedly willed the Lions to a victory.
On their game-winning drive, Golladay snagged a 50/50 ball on a third-and-15, despite being held by cornerback James Bradberry. The 36-yard gain put the Lions in position to take the lead, but Golladay wasn’t done. Two incompletions later, Matthew Stafford again went to Golladay, and the 25-year-old receiver came down with one of the most impressive catches of his young career.
