Tuesday open thread: Do you approve of the Lions re-signing Romeo Okwara?

The echo from the starting gun for the NFL’s legal tampering period could still be heard by the time the Detroit Lions made what will likely be their biggest signing of this offseason.

Romeo Okwara, one of the few bright spots of the Lions defense from a year ago, re-signed with the team to the tune of three years and $39 million on the first day of legal tampering. And for a team that’s been starving for any semblance of a pass rush since 2014, re-signing Okwara seems to be a commitment from the new regime of general manager Brad Holmes and head coach Dan Campbell to not dig themselves into an even deeper hole.
