Ask any NFL player, and they’ll tell you moral victories are meaningless. That may be true, that may be posturing for the media just to make fans know that they aren’t “happy” with losing.
But if there’s one thing you can say about the Detroit Lions’ performance over the past three weeks, it’s been much more palatable on gamedays. In the previous three weeks, the Lions were blown out by the Seahawks, Vikings and Bears in embarrassing fashion. Each loss was by at least two scores, and it probably could’ve been worse.
