The jerseys are long gone now, lost somewhere along the way of T.J. Lang's many moves throughout the course of his life. But as a kid growing up in suburban Detroit, he had the same thoughts and dreams as so many other young football players.
He would watch Barry Sanders run and Herman Moore catch and Scott Mitchell throw in the old Silverdome and one day wanted to be one of those guys. He wanted to grow up and be a professional football player for the Detroit Lions.
That day, that childhood dream, became realized Sunday afternoon.
