The Detroit Lions gave Marvin Jones $8 million a year to be their No. 1 receiver, and they return two more players who caught at least 80 passes last season.
But in what will be a group effort to replace the retired Calvin Johnson, Lions coach Jim Caldwell said don't underestimate the contributions that third-year receiver TJ Jones could make this fall.
"TJ really has got to take another step forward," Caldwell said at a season ticket holder event last week at Ford Field. "He’s a guy that does a lot of things well. He can return for you.
