DENVER — The Detroit Lions are without a significant portion of their roster because of injuries and COVID-19, but all 12 players who were questionable on their Friday injury report are active and in the lineup Sunday against the Denver Broncos.
The Lions placed six members of their 53-man roster on the reserve/COVID list this week and ruled running back D'Andre Swift (shoulder) and linebackers Julian Okwara (ankle) and Jalen Reeves-Maybin (shoulder) out with injuries.
T.J. Hockenson, who was doubtful to play because of a hand injury, also is inactive.
But after juggling their practice schedule this week to account for a flu outbreak, all 12 players who missed time with an illness are active and in the lineup.
