As the Detroit Lions travel to Green Bay for their big Monday night showdown with the Packers, the team announced two significant injury updates for the game.
First, rookie tight end T.J. Hockenson has been cleared from concussion protocol and removed from the injury report entirely. He will play on Monday night, meaning he won’t even miss a single game after suffering a serious-looking concussion in Week 4, when his head and shoulder collided with the turf.
Additionally, defensive tackle Da’Shawn Hand has been downgraded from questionable to OUT. Hand had his first contact during practice since his elbow injury during training camp, but it appears he’s still at least a week away from getting back to action.
