We’re still a few months away from entering Camp Battle Season, but seeing as the Detroit Lions entered the third phase of offseason workouts this week with the beginning of OTAs, soon we will see the team’s depth chart developing.
With the Lions roster—especially on defense—going through a major overhaul this offseason (along with the coaching staff) there are a lot of positions that are up for grabs in 2018 and a lot of potential candidates to fill them. Last year, there was limited competition at positions like backup quarterback, running back, linebacker and tight end.
