NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Hannah Pearson loves the Detroit Lions. But she's never been inside Ford Field.
She went to the University of Alabama, cheered on the Crimson Tide (ya know, the team with all those college football championships), and she lives in Birmingham — the one in the Deep South. Neither she nor anyone in her family has lived in Michigan.
Losing — which the Lions have done so often — doesn't give her misery, she says. "It builds character." And this 25-year-old, multi-generation superfan has plenty of that.
