ALLEN PARK -- One can't help but wonder what Bob Quinn was thinking as he watched New England roar back to beat Jacksonville 24-20 on Sunday in the AFC championship game.
On the one hand, the Lions GM has to wait two more weeks to hire Matt Patricia as his head coach. That causes all kinds of problems, especially with the draft prep. The Senior Bowl is this week, and the Lions will be one of the only clubs without a staff in place for it.
But on the other hand, Quinn must have smiled at what he saw from Patricia's defense.
