This has been one of the biggest conspiracy theories for just about forever. Of course it’s not just the NFL, this theory spans throughout all sports and just won’t go away. Let’s face it sports fans, professional sports are not rigged. Sadly every team gets shorted by a blown call every once in a while, not as much as the Detroit Lions, but it happens.
Due to the Lions debacle on Monday night which was probably the 1,000th version of this story, the old “NFL is Rigged” argument reared it’s ugly little head again. I get it, it’s hard to watch the Lions or any team in any league lose a game due to referees.
