When anyone asks for advice surrounding a trip to Detroit Lions training camp, I always have the same answers: wear a hat, get some sunscreen, and hydrate. The Michigan summer sun can be unforgiving, and the bleachers at Lions camp are often baking in the direct sunlight.
But it appears those days are now over. On Tuesday, the Lions announced a wide-spanning partnership with Meijer. Most notably, the Lions training facility has a name now: the Meijer Performance Center. You can read more about the Meijer partnership with the Lions’ official press release.
