My lasting memory of Thanksgiving 2012 is of the Lions and Texans. That was when head coach Jim Schwartz tried to challenge a play he wasn’t allowed to challenge, got penalized for it, calamity, things of that nature. Jason Hanson missed a field goal in overtime and Gunther Cunningham drop kicked his playbook.
Anyway, it’s great to see both teams are in much better spirits this time around.
That’s a lie. The Detroit Lions are barely keeping their head above the rising waters. Matt Patricia is the odds-on favorite as the next head coach fired in the NFL.
