There will be a two-way line of communication between Arn Tellem and Stan Van Gundy.
Van Gundy, the Detroit Pistons’ president of basketball operations, will knock on Tellem’s door for consultations and advice.
And Tellem, the new Palace Sports & Entertainment vice chairman, will have the freedom to walk to the practice facility to discuss ideas.
That’s how Tellem, who spoke today with reporters over lunch, envisions his relationship with Van Gundy, Pistons general manager Jeff Bower and the rest of basketball operations.
“It’ll be more to help,” Tellem explained at the Palace Grille. “My skills complement theirs.
