One of the most intriguing storylines for the Detroit Lions’ season finale was the play of rookie cornerback Teez Tabor. With Nevin Lawson out of the game because of a concussion, Tabor was likely going to get a lot more playing time than normal. However, in the first quarter against the Green Bay Packers, Tabor left the game with an apparent arm injury.
Tabor was part of a violent collision in which Quandre Diggs blew up Packers receiver Randall Cobb on a deep pass. Diggs forced the incompletion, but he drew a flag on the play for contact to the head on a defenseless receiver.
