ALLEN PARK -- Taylor Decker is back, and he brought a friend.
The Detroit Lions activated their top left tackle to the 53-man roster on Saturday, a day before facing the Cleveland Browns at Ford Field. He is expected to play in that game, his first action since tearing the labrum in his right shoulder.
Corey Robinson, another offensive tackle, was also activated. Jace Billingsley was waived in the corresponding move.
The moves provide a major boost to an offensive line that has struggled this season, but was trending up even before Decker's return. Their run blockingn is the worst in the game, according to advanced metrics from Football Outsiders, and they've allowed 26 sacks, which is fifth most in the league.
