The Detroit Lions ended their season Sunday with a win over the Packers. Here’s a look back at how I predicted their season would unfold.
My predicted record: 8-8
Lions’ actual record: 9-7
How I fared: Was pretty close to the actual record, although I definitely underestimated the NFC South. I went 7-9 with my game-by-game selections, in part because when I made these calls, Aaron Rodgers was expected to be quarterbacking the Green Bay Packers. I whiffed on the Carolina, New Orleans and Tampa Bay games -- thinking the Lions were a better team than two eventual playoff squads and that the Buccaneers would be much better than they really were.
