In terms of starting jobs, the Detroit Lions don’t have a ton up for grabs this season. General manager Bob Quinn has done a formidable job this offseason making sure that every position has a clear and—at the very least—adequate starter.
One of the few exceptions to that is the situation at right guard. After making the difficult decision to cut Pro Bowl guard T.J. Lang, Quinn hasn’t made a definitive move to find a starter there. Oday Aboushi, mostly a backup for his entire career, may be considered the favorite.
