STATS PACK: Why Jim Bob Cooter's offense works

After another stellar game in Sunday’s win over San Francisco, Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford made a public plea for offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter to return and orchestrate the offense again in 2016.

“Jim Bob and I are on the same page the majority of the time, if not all the time,” Stafford said.

“It’s not my decision, I just know we’re playing really well on offense right now and I’m having a good time. I think everyone is. He’s a smart guy. It’s not my decision, but I’d like to have him back, no question.”

Of course Stafford would like to have Cooter back.
