Detroit – It’s never easy for these Detroit Lions, but for the second consecutive week, they came up with just enough plays to squeak out a win, besting the Los Angeles Rams at Ford Field on Sunday, 31-28.
The Lions offense held up its end of the bargain in the victory, but the defense continued to struggle, making a marginal opposing quarterback look like a perennial Pro Bowler. The Rams (3-3) entered the game with the NFL’s worst offense, but managed to resemble the Greatest Show on Turf that propelled the franchise to a Super Bowl championship in 2000.
