Stafford impressing, even without Megatron

Matthew Stafford has been impressive throughout training camp.

The Lions’ seventh-year quarterback has completed 76 percent of his passes through the first three games of the preseason with three touchdowns and no interceptions.

Keep in mind that all of that is without the services of the best receiver on the planet – Calvin Johnson – who's been given the veteran treatment by the Lions and hasn’t played at all in the preseason.

Stafford said he and Johnson have had a good connection throughout practice this offseason and there’s absolutely no worries on his part about not playing together in the preseason.
