Sources: Stafford has torn ligaments in finger

DETROIT -- Matthew Stafford doesn't know whether he has broken the middle finger on his right throwing hand and said he will probably need X-rays to determine how badly it is injured.

The Detroit Lions quarterback injured the finger in the first quarter of Sunday's 20-17 win over Chicago when his hand "clapped hands" with Chicago's Leonard Floyd on a play he was also called for intentional grounding.

Stafford went to the sideline after the drive, put a glove on his right hand and then started throwing with the glove.
