ALLEN PARK, Mich. -- The Detroit Lions locked up two of their 2013 draft picks, agreeing to contract extensions with punter Sam Martin and running back Theo Riddick on Friday.
Martin signed a four-year, $13.6 million extension, days before the start of the season as first reported by the NFL Network and confirmed by ESPN. The deal makes Martin the third-highest paid punter in the NFL according to ESPN Insider Adam Caplan.
