Source: NFL won't fine Lions' Robinson for hit

ALLEN PARK, Mich. -- The NFL has decided not to fine Detroit Lions defensive tackle A'Shawn Robinson for his unnecessary roughness penalty against Dallas on Monday night, according to a source.

Robinson was flagged for tackling Dallas running back Ezekiel Elliott in the third quarter of Monday night's game after it appeared as if he might have lifted Elliott off the ground to tackle him. At the time, it looked like a questionable call, but it was something Detroit Lions coach Jim Caldwell seemed to be annoyed with after the game.
