ALLEN PARK -- With just two week until cut-down day, Lions GM Bob Quinn has shaken up the mix at linebacker.
Detroit has traded for 49ers linebacker Eli Harold, according to a source. The club gave up a conditional seventh-round pick in 2020 in return.
Harold, listed at 6-foot-3 and 257 pounds, is expected to vie for a job at outside linebacker. Devon Kennard and Christian Jones have been repping with the ones there, alongside Jarrad Davis in the middle. Trevor Bates, Jalen Reeves-Maybin, Miles Killebrew, Jonathan Freeny, Freddie Bishop and Chad Meredith are the other notable linebackers competing for reserve jobs.
