Former Detroit Lions linebacker Stephen Tulloch has reached an agreement with the Philadelphia Eagles pending a physical, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Tulloch, 31, was released by the Lions on July 5 after five seasons with the team. He had been the team's starting middle linebacker since coming to Detroit in 2011 after starting his career with the Titans.
The Lions told Tulloch in February that he no longer was in the team's plans but he wasn't officially released until four months later.
Tulloch had offseason surgery on his ankle and didn't pass a physical exam until the day he was released.
