Larry Warford isn't naïve about the business side of the NFL.
In three seasons with the Lions, Warford already has seen one head coach fired (Jim Schwartz, after his rookie year), one position coach leave for another job (Bobby Johnson, last year) and two more let go for performance reasons in the middle of the season (Jeremiah Washburn and Terry Heffernan in October).
Still, Warford, the 24-year-old right guard, can't wrap his mind around the fact that Jim Caldwell's job security is an issue as the Lions wind down their disappointing 6-9 season.
"Honestly, in my eyes, I don't see his job at risk just from what I know and how he's gone about things and his popularity with the guys," Warford said.
