DETROIT -- The Lions (4-7) fell 23-16 on Thanksgiving against the Bears (8-3). This is an analysis of how the snaps were distributed.
-- With Kerryon Johnson out, LeGarrette Blount stepped into the starting running back job and played the majority of the snaps at the position. He seemed to pick up steam as the game progressed, too, putting a slow start behind him to finish with 19 carries for 88 yards and two touchdowns. Zach Zenner, who was expected to split the backfield with him, ran two times for 9 yards on just four offensive snaps. Theo Riddick played 29 snaps in his regular role as a third-down back and split out at receiver.
