Darius Slay returned to practice today after missing last weekend's loss to the Houston Texans with a strained hamstring, and the Detroit Lions also could be getting more help for their depleted linebacking corps soon.
Jon Bostic, who has been on injured reserve with a broken foot since the preseason, ran alongside injured tight end Brandon Pettigrew in front of trainers during the open portion of practice.
The Lions planned to make Bostic their lone IR player designated for return earlier this year, and today's development is a sign he could be getting close to practicing again.
