Jim Caldwell talked this afternoon in the same way he coached Thursday evening.
Scared. Clueless.
The fact that Caldwell naively believed that he could steer the media cross-examination away last week’s disaster against Green Bay only further confirmed internal obliviousness. If Caldwell believed nobody would ask him for additional insight into the 61-yard Hail Mary touchdown with no time on the clock, it explains why he was the only person in Ford Field who didn’t think the Packers would attempt a Hail Mary.
