The comments were laughable. Still standing after a 1-7 start, Jim Caldwell directed his attention Tuesday at what he thought was an overly negative Detroit media environment.
And like his offense, the head coach badly misfired.
"There's no question," Caldwell said when asked if the Detroit media was the most negative he's ever experienced in his coaching career. "That's a fact. I'm giving you the facts.
