It’s clear that the Detroit Lions are still looking to upgrade their running back position. Not only did the Lions sign sign Malcolm Brown to a restricted free agent tender, but they also hosted Spencer Ware for a visit last week.
Both head coach Matt Patricia and general manager Bob Quinn have said that they don’t really plan on working Kerryon Johnson like a bell-cow back, hoping to keep him fresh for the entirety of his Lions career.
And while most of free agency has dried up so far, the running back market still has some noteworthy names in it.
