It’s rivalry week in college football. Michigan-Ohio State, Auburn-Alabama, Georgia-Georgia Tech, amongst others.
When it comes to football rivalries, it seems like college football has cornered the market on historic feuds. Certainly there are some rivalries in the NFL (Bengals-Steelers, Dallas-Washington, Packers-Vikings), but they all seem to wax and wane as parity in the NFL causes some of these matchups to lose their allure over time.
Of course, the same could be said for some of these college football matchups. UM-OSU has certainly been one-sided as of late, and Florida-Florida State has been a shell of itself since the early 2000s.
