Saturday open thread: Should Calvin Johnson be a first-ballot Hall of Famer?

Tonight is the night.

For every eager former NFL great who made the ballot, it’s gotta be an eternity waiting for that knock on the door from David Baker, CEO and President of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

But with such a loaded class for the 2021 Pro Football Hall of Fame that includes the likes of quarterback Peyton Manning, defensive back Charles Woodson, and defensive end Jared Allen, space is limited for wide receiver Calvin Johnson.
