ALLEN PARK, Mich. – Sean Payton can’t forget it. The two were young coaches at Miami (Ohio), sharing an office and working together on the offensive side of the ball.
Payton had known of White as a player, where he played for the New York Giants under Bill Parcells, but he didn’t really remember much else about him. But one day with Miami (Ohio), he got a glimpse of how fast his colleague could be.
“Every once in a while, you see a sideline play and you guys are able to see the bench, whether he was a player or a coach,” Payton said.
