In desperate need of running back help, the Detroit Lions are reportedly working out Jay Ajayi.

A fifth-round pick out of Boise State in 2015, Ajayi tore his anterior cruciate ligament in Week 5 last season for the Philadelphia Eagles.

He rushed for 184 yards on 45 carries last season, scoring three touchdowns.

Ajayi was traded to Philadelphia from Miami midway through the 2017 season, and was a critical part of the Eagles' run to Super Bowl LII, tallying 184 yards on 42 rushing attempts in three playoff games.
