Perhaps Calvin Johnson and the Detroit Lions can settle their fiasco later this summer.
After Johnson basically trashed his former team during a news conference in Italy last week, Lions team president Rod Wood said Monday he had extended a training camp invitation to the franchise's all-time leading receiver in an interview on the team's radio station WJR.

“It’s a little disappointing," Wood said in Monday's interview with Frank Beckmann. "I kind of align myself with what Jim Caldwell said a couple weeks ago, that I think it will all work out.
