Rick Wagner, T.J. Lang sit out Detroit Lions practice

The Detroit Lions practiced Wednesday without the starting right side of their offensive line.

Right tackle Rick Wagner missed practice with ankle and shoulder injuries, and right guard T.J. Lang sat out with a back injury.

Both players were able to finish last week's win over the Minnesota Vikings, and will face another good pass rush Sunday against Julius Peppers, Kawann Short and the 3-1 Carolina Panthers.

More Detroit Lions:

Along with Wagner and Lang, defensive tackle Haloti Ngata (shoulder), linebacker Paul Worrilow (knee), running back Dwayne Washington (quad) and wide receiver Kenny Golladay (hamstring) missed practice for injury reasons, and linebacker Steve Longa was away for personal reasons after the death of his father last week.
