According to multiple reports, the Detroit Lions have acquired Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Johnthan Banks before today's trade deadline.
ESPN's Adam Schefter and NFL.com's Ian Rapoport both have the Lions receiving Banks, who started across from Lions cornerback Darius Slay at Mississippi State, for a conditional seventh-round pick in 2018. Banks reportedly was going to be waived by the Bucs.
The Bucs drafted Banks No. 43 overall in 2013, seven spots after the Lions picked Slay at No. 36.
