The Detroit Lions should be getting left tackle Taylor Decker back soon, maybe just in time to make a run for the playoffs.
The Lions are returning Decker to practice today from the physically unable to perform list about five months after he tore the labrum in his right shoulder.
Decker underwent shoulder surgery in June, and the Lions had long targeted a mid-season return for the anchor of their offensive line.
The Lions have started two different left tackles in Decker's absence, Greg Robinson for the first six games and Brian Mihalik last week, and have struggled to keep Matthew Stafford upright much of the season.
