The Detroit Lions may have re-signed running back Zach Zenner last week, but it appears they are still very much in the market for more help in the backfield. According to Adam Schefter, the Lions are hosting former Chiefs tailback Spencer Ware for a visit on Monday.
Ware, 27, has been around the NFL since 2013, but his career didn’t really take off until he landed with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2015. Playing mostly as backup with the Chiefs, Ware racked up 1,570 yards (4.7 yards per carry) and 59 catches for 676 yards over three seasons.
