The rumors around Detroit Lions cornerback Darius Slay and the trade deadline remain relatively firm. The Lions are listening, but their asking price is reportedly very high.
Mike Garafolo joined in the rumors as he filed a report for NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football” on Tuesday morning. Garafolo said the Lions’ price is “incredibly high” and that leads him to believe Darius Slay will remain in Detroit.
“I know there was some mention yesterday that the Philadelphia Eagles (were) potentially in play for Slay, but the asking price for Slay, I’m being told, remains incredibly high,” Garafolo said.
