The Detroit Lions continue to work quickly through their head coaching candidates this week. The Lions now have a third reported interview scheduled for this week. According to Albert Breer, Texans coordinator Mike Vrabel will interview for the job on Wednesday:
Vrabel will be the second candidate interviewed the by the Lions. Here is the interview schedule per multiple reports:
Today (Tuesday): Lions DC Teryl Austin
Wednesday: Texans DC Mike Vrabel
Thursday: Vikings OC Pat Shurmur
The Lions have also reportedly sent requests to interview Patriots DC Matt Patricia, Panthers DC Steve Wilks, and Packers assistant head coach/linebackers coach Winston Moss.
