The Detroit Lions are expected to hire New England Patriots director of pro scouting Bob Quinn as their next general manager, ESPN reported today.
Quinn joined the Patriots in 2000 as a player personnel assistant and has been with the organization ever since, winning four Super Bowls and climbing up the ranks.
He's considered one of Bill Belichick's most trusted front office members, second only to Nick Cesario in the Patriots heirarchy.
Neither Quinn nor Ernie Accorsi, who's advising the Lions on the GM search, returned phone calls seeking comment.
