ALLEN PARK -- The Detroit Lions had a remarkable draft in 2013, and it becomes even more remarkable when considering how many other players have busted out in that class. Guys like D.J. Hayden.
But now the Lions hope they can revive Hayden's career, signing the former 13th overall pick to a one-year deal worth as much as $5.25 million according to ESPN.
The deal is expected to be incentive-laden for Hayden, who has battled a seemingly interminable string of injuries. He missed 19 games in four years with Oakland, including five last year.
He's played 16 games just once, and in that 2015 season, he gave up the second-most catches in the league (70).
