The Detroit Lions continue to try and create cap room for the 2021, as NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo is reporting the team will restructure the contract of linebacker Jamie Collins Sr. Though Garafolo doesn’t give details of the restructure, he does note that the Lions are adding voidable years to help stretch that cap hit across multiple years and it will result in Collins’ cap hit of $11.3 million to be “lowered significantly.”
